Professor Yury Gogotsi from Drexel University, USA will receive the 2011 NANOSMAT Prize and also will deliver this years NANOSMAT Prize Lecture at the 6th NANOSMAT PRIZE 2011 Meeting to be held in Krakow, Poland

Professor Yury Gogotsi from Drexel University, USA will receive the 2011 NANOSMAT Prize. This year, the   competition for the 2011 NANOSMAT Prize was highly competitive and extremely   difficult for the awards comittee to decide on the winner. 
  There were five   very strong candidates in total and the Awards committee,  unanimously decided to award this   years prize to Professor Yury Gogotsi for his outstanding achievements and   contributions in nanoscience and nanotechnology.
Professor   Gogotsi will deliver this years NANOSMAT Prize Lecture at the 6th NANOSMAT PRIZE 2011 meeting to   be held in Krakow, Poland.
